Group journeys in Nagasaki and Kyushu, arranged to order

A registered Japanese travel agency with an office in Nagasaki. We design and coordinate Christian pilgrimages and group programmes for parishes, dioceses, tour operators and private groups.

About us

Local knowledge, thoughtful journeys

Floraison Tour is the travel division of Floraison Co., Ltd., Osaka. Our work is in Nagasaki Prefecture and across Kyushu, where we plan and run group programmes from the ground: coaches, ferries, hotels, guides, meals and the church visit permissions that a Nagasaki pilgrimage depends on.

We do not sell packaged tours on this site. Each programme is built from your group's brief — dates, size, pace, budget and what the journey is for — and quoted for the group as a whole. Our coordinator Akiko Kawashima works in English from the first enquiry to the last transfer.

Why Floraison Tour

What you can expect from us

On the ground in Nagasaki

An office and coordinator in Nagasaki city rather than a desk in Tokyo. We know the ferry timetables, the parish offices and which car park the Kashiragashima shuttle leaves from.

English throughout

Enquiries, proposals, contracts and on-the-day contact in English. Licensed English-speaking guides for the programme.

Clear about limits

Interior access and Mass depend on parishes; ferries depend on weather. We say what is confirmed, what is provisional and what the alternative is.

Full ground scope

Transport, accommodation, meals, guides, permits and entrance fees quoted together, so operators and parishes have one contract and one contact.

Pace set by the group

Distances, steps and sea crossings are written into every proposal. Older groups, school groups and mixed-mobility groups are routed differently.

How it works

From enquiry to departure

  1. Enquiry

Tell us who is travelling, roughly when, for how long, and what matters most — sites, Mass, pace, budget range.

  2. Brief

We reply with questions and a first outline: which sites fit the dates and the group, where the constraints are.

  3. Proposal

A day-by-day itinerary with hotels, transport, Mass venues and a quotation for the group.

  4. Refinement

Two or three rounds of changes are usual. We hold key services provisionally where we can.

  5. Confirmation

Written confirmation, deposit and travel conditions. We then submit church applications and finalise ferries and hotels.

  6. On the ground

Coordinator contact from arrival to departure; guides and drivers briefed on your programme.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you sell packaged tours with fixed dates and prices?

No. Everything on this site is arranged to order for a specific group. We prepare a proposal and quotation for your brief; nothing is booked until you confirm it in writing.

Who do you work with?

Parishes, dioceses and religious communities organising pilgrimages; tour operators and travel agents who need a local partner in Kyushu; schools, cultural and professional associations; and private groups of 10 to 40 people.

Which areas do you cover?

Nagasaki Prefecture is our base and specialism, including the Goto Islands, Hirado and Sotome. We also arrange programmes across Kyushu — Fukuoka, Kumamoto and Amakusa, Unzen and Shimabara, Oita and Kagoshima.

Do you provide English-speaking guides?

Yes. We arrange licensed English-speaking guides for the full programme or for specific days. Our coordinator communicates with you in English throughout.

Can you arrange only part of a programme — for example coaches and church applications?

Yes. We regularly provide ground arrangements for operators who handle flights and sales themselves: coaches, ferries, hotels, meals, guides, church visit applications and on-the-ground support.

How far in advance should we contact you?

For pilgrimage groups, 8 to 12 months before travel is comfortable; church visit applications open six months ahead and hotels on the islands are few. Shorter lead times are possible depending on the season.

How quickly will you reply?

We aim to acknowledge every enquiry within 2 business days and to send a first proposal within one to two weeks, depending on complexity.

Are you a registered travel agency?

Yes. Floraison Co., Ltd. is registered as a travel agency with the Osaka Prefectural Government (Osaka Governor Registered Travel Agency No. 3-3120 (Type 3)).
